About this watch
Seiko 5 Automatic Grey Arabic, reference 6309-9230, with the 6309A automatic movement (17 jewels), made in 1983. Dark grey dial with Eastern Arabic numerals, day-date window with English day wheel. Comes on a stainless steel bracelet (aftermarket). Restored watch: the Seiko case and automatic movement are genuine, and the dial is a refurbished replacement. For everyday wear this makes no difference; it only matters to collectors. Condition grade B – Very good: light, honest wear for its age.
What "Restored" means
Many vintage Seikos lost their original dials to humidity over the decades, so replacement dials were fitted.
