Seiko Identifier: what is my Seiko, and is it original?
Updated 12 October 2026 · Cro Watches, Vilnius
Photograph your watch, or type the numbers from it. The Identifier tells you which Seiko it is, when it was made, what the original Seiko catalogue says about it, and whether the dial and caseback belong together.
1 Add two photos (optional)
2 Check the numbers
Filled in from your photos, or type them yourself. Everything is on the watch: the reference and serial on the caseback, the dial code in small print at the bottom of the dial.
The caseback reference and the dial code are tiny, and most of the time they can't be read from a photo. If they don't fill in, look at your watch and type them in by hand. A torch held low at the side helps you read worn engraving.
The result is evidence, not a guarantee. Want a second opinion? Email photos to info@crowatches.com and we'll take a look.
