From Asia to your wrist

How every watch is checked

  1. Sourced in Asia

Picked by hand from dealers and collectors in Thailand and Japan, where these Seikos were first sold.

  2. Inspected

Dial, hands, bezel and movement checked against known references. Anything not factory, like a refinished dial or a newer strap, is named in the listing.

  3. Graded and photographed

Graded A to D, with every mark photographed. Service history and any timegrapher reading are listed on the watch page.

  4. Shipped from the EU

Packed with care and sent tracked from Lithuania to anywhere in Europe and the USA.

Condition grades

What the grades mean

Full grading guide
AExcellent. Minimal signs of wear, runs well within factory spec.
BVery good. Light, honest wear for its age.
CGood. Clear wear and patina from decades of use. Runs well.
DProject. Needs service or repair. Clearly marked, priced to match.
R
Restored watches

A genuine Seiko case and automatic movement with a refurbished replacement dial. Many vintage Seikos lost their original dials to humidity over the decades, so replacement dials were fitted. For wearing, it makes no difference at all: the parts that keep time and last, the Seiko case and automatic movement, are genuine. Dial originality only matters to collectors, so restored watches are clearly marked and priced lower. The A–D grade still describes the wear.

Questions

Before you buy

Are the watches original?

We check every part against known references, and each listing tells you exactly what is original. Case, hands and movement are original Seiko. For the dial, every watch page says whether it is original, original with aged patina, refinished (a "redial"), or a replacement (marked "Restored"). A refinished dial is never sold as original, and it is priced lower. How we check dials

What does "neo-vintage" mean?

Neo-vintage is what collectors call Seikos from the late 1990s and 2000s, such as the Seiko 5 models with the 7S26 and 7S36 automatic movements. They are newer than our 1970s and 80s pieces, a little larger, very robust and easy to service, which makes them great everyday watches. Every listing shows the reference, so you always know which generation a watch is from.

What is a "Restored" watch?

A genuine Seiko case and automatic movement fitted with a refurbished replacement dial. The original dial did not survive, often because of humidity damage, so a replacement was fitted. It looks and wears like any vintage Seiko, and it is a great everyday watch. Collectors prefer original dials, so restored watches are marked with "Restored" in the shop and priced lower.

Why do many vintage watches come on a newer bracelet or strap?

These watches are 30 to 60 years old and were worn every day. The bracelet takes the most wear: links and pins stretch, clasps break, and sweat and tropical humidity corrode steel and rot rubber and leather. Many owners also swapped bracelets for comfort or style, and the original was thrown away. That's why an original bracelet is rare and adds value. A newer strap doesn't change the watch itself, and every listing tells you whether the bracelet is original Seiko or aftermarket.

Have the watches been serviced?

Each listing states the service history. Unless a listing says it was serviced, the watch is sold as found. Where we have measured a watch on a timegrapher, the reading is shown on its page.

Do I pay customs?

Not inside the EU. We ship from Lithuania, so EU orders arrive with no extra fees. Buyers in the USA and outside the EU may pay import duties in their country.

How do I pay?

By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through a secure checkout. Prefer to talk first? Email us and we'll reserve the watch for 24 hours.

Can I return a watch?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, in the condition you received it. Return details
